Cisco has made their name count for managers, organizations and network professionals due to the value and the rewards their certificates bring. To date there are three levels of certification which are Associate, Professional, and Expert (CCIE; representing the highest level of achievement).
There are six different paths or tracks to choose from such as Routing and Switching, Network Security, and Service Provider are available so individuals can match their certification path to their job role or industry.
There are also certifications in focused areas in addition to general certifications, network professionals can therefore enhance their core networking knowledge by achieving specialist certification in technologies such as security, IP telephony, and wireless technology such an WiFi and WLAN.

The cost for registering for the exam varies so you should check the website for prices and avaiability. Students can register for the exam at any Prometric or Pearson VUE office world wide but the exam is only available in English and Japanese and Japanese is only catered for in Japan.
