Cisco CCDA Exam Required Exams:
The exams required in order to achieve the CCDA Cisco certification is a DESGN 640-861 exam.
Cisco CCDA Exam Recertification:
Each CCDA certification only has a maximum lifetime of three years. After three years the student has a choice of either passing any of the exams that bear the 642 prefix, OR the CCDA level exams OR successful completion of the CCIE Written exam from or later than the 1 st October 2004.
